"The William Goldberg Way," a limited-edition book written in collaboration with renowned jewelry expert and writer Jill Newman and Jackie Caradonio, is a rare behind-the-scenes view into the mysterious world of diamonds through William Goldberg, the man credited with changing the face of the industry. We travel with him on his quest for the rarest stones and discover how his singular ability to intuit the perfect cut earned him the reputation as a virtuoso and why his skill was considered an art form. So lively it reads like a novel, it’s also a gorgeous picture book filled with rare archival images and firsthand accounts of the most legendary diamonds in the world and the legendary craftsmen who brought out their beauty.
I was approached by Peggy Bennett of Bennett Elia to assist with the graphic design and image curation of this case bound book. In addition to assisting and collaborating on the design, I also provided consultation and feedback to the creative director on layout options as well as finessing typographical arrangements when needed.
