KR Creative is a creative practice by Kelsey Reid, a director and photographer with a focus on fashion, beauty, and product imagery. Every frame thoughtfully composed, color aware, and crafted to tell a visual story that resonates.
With a not-so-subtle obsession with light, she brings a painterly sensibility to her images, drawing inspiration from the Baroque and Renaissance eras. From major campaigns to emerging brands, she collaborates closely with clients to create imagery that’s as effective as it is striking.
I was commissioned by Kelsey to create a brand identity for her that visualized all of these characteristics, as well as develop a website that further told her story as a photographer and director. Using a typeface designed by women as the main header fit into the femme-forward vision of her brand. The logo was custom tailored to have a dramatic thick to thin look. Campaign materials are designed to resemble high-fashion and luxury campaigns — everything photo forward with design elements complimenting each story told.
