The Vocal Civilian is a newspaper publication in pursuit of liberation through visual communication that was launched as part of the CHARACTERS: Type In Action exhibition at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA).
VOCAL Type and Civilization reached out to me to transform the entire CHARACTERS: Type In Action exhibition at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) into a newspaper magazine. This way, any institution, regardless of budget and location, can display a mini version of the exhibition using copies of the newspaper.
Some of the layouts and design language from the newspaper became integral parts of the overall experiential design for the exhibition itself. I had the honor of assisting with the experiential design of the show as well as the design of the newspaper.
